Dill seeds are one of the best ways to get the fresh mint and cumin flavour from the dill herb into food. Dill seeds are popularly used to extra it's potential essential oil, as it's highly concentrated in the seeds. The seeds also have a widespread use as a spice in India, Iran, Egypt and other Arabian countries.
Gently fry seeds in oil first if using whole, this releases all their flavour. Pairs with fish, lentils, potatoes, fenugreek, prawns, coconut milk, eggs, tea, fennel.
