Whistler wines 'thank god it's friday' shiraz - single bottle - 2017
Fermented with 30% whole bunches and matured in old oak for 9 months. Opaque black dark red colour with a bright red hue. Lifted aromas of liquorice and blackberries intermix with subtle smoky clove notes, a hint of vanilla and spice. Vibrant and juicy the mid weight palate is richly flavoured with dark plum, liquorice and freshly crushed blackberries. Underpinning the fruit is dried clove and spicy vanilla characters. Bright youthful acidity, slightly grainy tannins and a medium length finish.
Drink over the next 2-3 years.
