Winter Drinks: Chai Latte & Spiced Chocolate

Once the cooler weather hits, we all start to crave a cup of hot drink that fix the winter blues and warm our body. SLOWOOD would like to share the warmth with you by sharing the festive drinks recipes with you all!

1. Spiced Hot Chocolate

Ingredients
- 2 teaspoon of cocoa powder
- 1 cup of heated vegan milk
- 1/4 teaspoon of cinnamon powder

How to make
Add all the powder into the heated vegan milk and stir to combine.

 

2. Chai Latte

Ingredients
- 1/4 teaspoon of cinnamon powder
- 2 cm piece sliced ginger
- 1 star anise
- 6 peppercorns
- 4 cloves
- 8 cardamom pods
- 500 ml vegan milk
- 1 to 2 teaspoon of brown sugar
- 3 kinds of black tea (English breakfast/ assam/ Ceylon)

How to make
1. Put all the spices, ginger and tea bags into a tea pot with 500 ml boiled water and leave to infuse for 10 mins.
2. Heat the milk with brown sugar, stirring until the sugar dissolved.
3. Strain the tea between 4 mugs. Then pour in the milk.
4. Stir to combine.

1. 肉桂熱朱古力

材料:
- 2 茶匙 可可粉
- 1 杯 加熱植物奶
- 1/4 茶匙 肉桂粉

烹飪方法:
將所有粉末加入熱的植物奶中,攪拌後趁熱享用。

 

2. 印度香料奶茶

材料:
- 1/4 茶匙 肉桂粉
- 2 塊 薑片 - 1 粒 八角
- 6 粒 胡椒粒
- 4 塊 丁香
- 8 塊 荳蔻莢
- 500 毫升 植物奶
- 1 - 2 茶匙 紅糖
- 3種 红茶(英式早餐/阿薩姆茶/錫蘭)

烹飪方法:
1. 將所有香料、薑片和茶包放入 500 毫升的滾水中,靜置 10 分鐘。
2. 加熱植物奶及倒入紅糖,攪拌至溶解。
3. 將茶包過濾在 4 個杯之間。然後倒入植物奶。
4. 攪拌後趁熱享用。
