Casa de Mouraz is a natural wine producer based in the Dão region in Portugal.

Wine making
Produced from typical Dão grapes, from a vineyard with 30 years old. Manual harvest in the beginning of September. Natural fermentation in stainless steel vats without the addition of yeast or other additives. Only a chestnut flower tisane was added. Bottling in the end of October, before fermentation ends. Sparkling wine made according to the ancestral method, with a single fermentation (which ends in the bottle). Not filtered or stabilized, with a very low sulphite level. 6400 bottles were produced.

Grape Varieties
Arinto, Síria and other tradicional grapes.

Tasting Notes
Vibrant straw color, with fine and persistent bubbles. In the mouth it shows character and freshness, with fruit aromas (peache, apple), great aromatic complexity and persistence.

Serve Advices
Serve at a temperature of 8ºC-10ºC.

Food Pairing
Ideal as an aperitif, seafood starter or to celebrate good times.

Contains sulphites.
