Recommend: Water base

Heat milk, non-dairy milk, or water until steaming.  Use a frother or whisker to combine cacao powder with the preferred liquid.  You may also add a dash of whisky for complex flavoring.    

European Style  -  Rich & Thick: 1/3 cup liquid serve in espresso cup

American Style  -  Light & Silky: 1/2 cup liquid serve in coffee cup
