Salted Caramel Turmeric Easter Eggs

  • 1/2 cup raw cacao
  • 1/4 extra virgin cold-pressed coconut oil
  • 2 tablespoons rice malt syrup (maple syrup, honey or coconut syrup can be used also)
  • 2 tablespoons coconut cream
  • pinch of salt

Golden Spice Salted Caramel:

  • 1 – 2tsp Golden Spice
  • 10 Medjool Dates (soaked in boiling water)
  • 1 tsp finely ground salt (adjust to your saltiness liking)

How to make

  1. Melt coconut oil, raw cacao, and sweetener of you choice over a low heat
  2. Add the coconut cream
  3. Pour the chocolate into egg moulds, filling 3/4 full
  4. Drain the dates and pop in a blender with the remaining caramel ingredients
  5. Spoon small amounts into the centre on the mould
  6. Top up with raw chocolate if needed
  7. Place in the freezer to set
  8. Enjoy!
