Key Ring: Lion

A male lion sleeps in his den and the females go out to hunt for food! Lions are the only cats that live in groups, known as a pride. The name for a baby lion is a cub, whelp or lionet. Their powerful roar can be heard from as far as 8 km away, and they can run at speeds of up to 81 kmph.But, a lion would be defeated by a polar bear if they had a fight.
