Key Ring: Penguin

There are 18 different species of Penguins, and they often live together in large groups called colonies, huddles, or rookeries. The fastest recorded swimming speed for a Penguin is an impressive 36 kmph. Among them, Emperor Penguins—the largest species—can hold their breath for up to 20 minutes underwater. Interestingly, many male Penguins give female Penguins with rocks as a way to woo them.
